Installation

A French cellar keeps wine cool, dark and still. This cabinet was built to hold those three conditions, permanently.

It holds 65 bottles across two independently controlled zones — reds at one temperature, whites at another, on 8 beech shelves that keep bottles level and labels facing forward.

Air is cooled by a sealed compressor and defrosted automatically, so humidity stays between 60 and 80 % and no frost forms on the glass.

Made to order

We hold no warehouse stock. Your cabinet is sent to the factory the day you order and enters production for you — around eight weeks.

Dispatch & delivery

Once built, tested and inspected, your cabinet is dispatched and delivered within one to three weeks. Total time from order to delivery is nine to eleven weeks.

Delivery

Free delivery to the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Given the weight, delivery is handled by a specialist carrier and may require a scheduled appointment. See our Shipping Policy.

Track your order

You receive a tracking number the moment your cabinet leaves the factory, and you can follow it the whole way.

On arrival

Inspect the cabinet before signing. Any visible damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, with photos, and we arrange a replacement.

Returns

Returns accepted within 30 days if the cabinet is unused, unpowered and in its original crate, and authorised by us beforehand. Where the return is not our fault, return transport and a 20% restocking fee are deducted. See our Refund & Return Policy.

Warranty

3-year warranty from delivery, on the whole cabinet — compressor, sealed cooling circuit, control board, LED lighting and door seals included. See our Warranty Policy.

ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS

Is professional installation required?

No custom work is needed. These cellars are produced to standard cabinetry dimensions, so they slide into a standard under-counter opening — or stand free, as you prefer. Heat is discharged at the base, through the front, so the sides and back can sit flush against cabinetry. See our built-in or freestanding guide.

What's the difference between single-zone and dual-zone?

A single-zone cellar holds one steady temperature throughout — ideal for a single wine style or long-term ageing. A dual-zone model splits the cabinet into two independently controlled compartments, so reds and whites can each be kept at their ideal range at once. Our buying guide compares the two side by side.

How loud is it, and can it run 24/7?

Every Maison Vinum cellar uses quiet compressor cooling designed for continuous, uninterrupted operation — built to run permanently, the way a serious collection should be kept.

What's covered under warranty?

Every cellar carries a 3-year warranty from the date of delivery — the cabinet, the compressor and the sealed cooling circuit, together with the control board, LED lighting and door seals. Any visible damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Full terms on our Warranty Policy page.

How do I clean and maintain my wine cellar?

Wipe the interior with a soft, damp cloth and a mild detergent; avoid abrasive cleaners on the glass door. On models fitted with one, check the activated carbon filter yearly to keep air circulating odour-free.

Why does delivery take nine to eleven weeks?

Because your cellar does not exist yet when you order it. We hold no warehouse stock: each order is placed with the factory, which builds that cellar specifically — around eight weeks, whatever the model.

Delivery then takes one to three weeks, handled by a specialist carrier used to moving appliances of this weight.

You are given tracking the moment your cellar leaves the factory.
