Is professional installation required?
Is professional installation required?
No plumbing is required. Our cellars simply slot into cabinetry or stand freestanding — just leave the clearances shown in the specifications above for the compressor's air intake and exhaust. See our Built-in or Freestanding guide for clearance diagrams.
What's the difference between single-zone and dual-zone?
What's the difference between single-zone and dual-zone?
A single-zone cellar holds one steady temperature throughout — ideal for a single wine style or long-term ageing. A dual-zone model splits the cabinet into two independently controlled compartments, so reds and whites can each be kept at their ideal range at once. Compare capacities on our capacity guide.

Every Maison Vinum cellar uses quiet compressor cooling designed for continuous, uninterrupted operation — built to run permanently, the way a serious collection should be kept.

How do I clean and maintain my wine cellar?
How do I clean and maintain my wine cellar?
Wipe the interior with a soft, damp cloth and a mild detergent; avoid abrasive cleaners on the glass door. On models fitted with one, check the activated carbon filter yearly to keep air circulating odour-free.
Why does delivery take 50 to 60 days?
Why does delivery take 50 to 60 days?
Because your cellar does not exist yet when you order it. We hold no warehouse stock: each order is placed with the factory, which builds that cellar specifically — 10 to 15 days for a Compact model, 15 to 20 days for the larger Connoisseur and Prestige cabinets.
It is then shipped by sea rather than by air, which takes around 40 days. Sea freight is slower, but it is how a 100kg cabinet travels without being handled a dozen times — and it is a considerably lighter way to move it.
You are given tracking the moment your cellar leaves the factory.
